Underwriters Laboratories UL & cUL:
EMF metallic enclosures are UL Listed (U.S.) / cUL Listed (Canada) with the following enclosure Type ratings, depending on configuration. Evaluated to UL 508A (2nd Ed.), UL 50E (2nd Ed.), and CSA C22.2 No. 14-13 (12th Ed.):
• Industrial Control Panel Enclosure (IP66): Enclosure Type ratings 1, 2, 3, 3R, 3SX, 4, & 4X
• UL File Nos. (as applicable by part number): E162786, E94504
CE Compliance:
EMF metallic enclosures are designed and manufactured with reference to Directive 2014/35/EU (Low Voltage Directive) and applicable harmonized standards relevant to enclosure safety and protection performance. Final conformity assessment and CE marking obligations (if any) depend on the end-product configuration and intended use.
Compliance with the essential safety requirements of the Low Voltage Directive is demonstrated through application of the following harmonized standards, which provide a presumption of conformity:
• EN 60670‑1 – Boxes and enclosures for electrical accessories for household and similar fixed electrical installations – Part 1: General requirements
• EN 60529 – Degrees of protection provided by enclosures (IP Code)
Where applicable, enclosures are evaluated and marked in accordance with the relevant IP protection ratings.
RoHS Compliance:
EMF enclosures, standard accessories, and packaging comply with Directive 2011/65/EU, as amended by Directive (EU) 2015/863 (RoHS 3), on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment. Accordingly, the products listed above are considered RoHS compliant without exemption.
REACH Compliance:
This declaration is provided in accordance with REACH Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006, specifically Article 33 (Duty to Communicate Information on Substances in Articles). This declaration references the ECHA REACH Candidate List of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC), updated February 4, 2026 (253 substances).
This declaration applies to metallic enclosure assemblies, as well as standard accessories supplied as part of the enclosure (excluding third-party accessories unless otherwise stated).
Based on information obtained from material suppliers and supply-chain due diligence, the articles described above do not contain REACH SVHC(s) at a concentration exceeding 0.1% weight-by-weight (w/w) at the article level, in accordance with REACH and ECHA guidance (Once an Article, Always an Article principle).
This declaration fulfills REACH Article 33 communication obligations. Where applicable, SCIP notifications are submitted or supported for EU market access in accordance with the EU Waste Framework Directive. This statement does not imply authorization under REACH Annex XIV.
TSCA Compliance:
TSCA Section 6(h) – PBT Compliance:
In accordance with U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), Section 6(h), regarding Persistent, Bioaccumulative, and Toxic (PBT) chemicals, MUM Industries hereby declares that, to the best of our knowledge and based on information obtained from our supply chain, the products supplied do not intentionally contain any of the following restricted substances:
• Decabromodiphenyl ether (DecaBDE, CAS 1163‑19‑5)
• Phenol, isopropylated phosphate (3:1) (PIP (3:1), CAS 68937‑41‑7)
• 2,4,6‑Tris(tert‑butyl)phenol (CAS 732‑26‑3)
• Hexachlorobutadiene (CAS 87‑68‑3)
• Pentachlorothiophenol (CAS 133‑49‑3)
TSCA Section 8(a)(7) – PFAS Compliance:
Based on information obtained from our supply chain and to the best of our knowledge, Integra and EMF metallic enclosures do not intentionally contain per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), as defined under TSCA Section 8(a)(7).
BABA compliance:
EMF metallic enclosures are designed and manufactured in the U.S.A. at our facilities located in Mentor, Ohio and Dallas, Texas. Where a project is subject to domestic preference requirements (e.g., Buy America / Build America, Buy America), the products listed above are manufactured in the United States; final applicability and compliance determinations may vary by funding source, project specifications, and contracting agency requirements.
