Underwriters Laboratories cUL Listing:

EMF enclosures are UL Listed for use in the United States and Canada meeting Type ratings; 1, 2, 3, 3R, 3SX, 4, & 4X with construction in accordance with the Standard for Industrial Control Panels, UL 508A, 2nd Edition, Standard for Enclosures for Electrical Equipment, UL 50E, 2nd Edition and Industrial Control Equipment, CSA C22.2 No.14-13, 12th Edition.

CE Compliance:

EMF enclosures meet the Low Voltage Directives (73/23/EEC, 2006/95/EC & 2014/35/EU) Boxes and enclosures for electrical accessories for household and similar fixed electrical installations – Part 1: General requirements, EN 60670-1:2005. Degrees of protection provided by enclosures (IP Code): IEC/EN 60529.

RoHS Compliance:

EMF enclosures with standard options and accessories are RoHS compliant as defined by the European Council Directive 2015/863/EU (RoHS 3), amendment of 2011/65/EU (RoHS 2) including Annex II; recasting 2002/95/EC (RoHS 1), on the Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (RoHS).

REACH Compliance:

EMF enclosures with standard options and accessories are REACH compliant as defined the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) Regarding Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 concerning Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH 247 through 1-21-2025)

TSCA Compliance:

EMF enclosures with standard options and accessories do not contain any of the restricted substances identified by the US EPA under the Toxic Substances Control Act including the five restricted PBT chemicals under section 6(h) that became effective on February 5th, 2021.

BABA compliance:

EMF enclosures are designed and manufactured in the USA at our facilities located in Mentor, Ohio and Dallas, TX. As manufactured goods, they meet the requirements of the Buy America Act as detailed in 23 CFR § 635.410, the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act of 2009 as detailed in 2 CFR 176.140 as well as the Build America, Buy America Act (BABA) as it’s outlined within the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, Pub. L. No. 117-58.
